Where we ate

About 10 of us headed to Wild Wings in Whitby for a late dinner. The variety of wing creations can be as delicious as overwhelming. Luckily for us, we had guidance from the family wing experts. Our other notable meal was a home made breakfast

my father-in-law with a little help from my mother-in-law gave restaurants a run for their money! We had a brunch to keep us going for the rest of the day.

What we did

We spent a few hours around Toronto.

It took us over 3 hours to get to Niagara on-the-Lake, due to holiday traffic. The wait was well worth our trouble.

You can’t go to Niagara on-the-Lake without doing an ice wine tasting.

This is a truly gorgeous region! Many people come to Niagara Falls, but don’t know about the rest of the region. From the picturesque colonial style buildings to the many wineries, grape yards and the enormous Lake Ontario, there are so many wonderful things to discover around Niagara on-the-Lake that many don’t know about.

Next time you visit the Niagara Region make sure to visit Niagara on-the-Lake, enjoy the beauty, elegance and of course some delicious icewine.
